History

Alliance Technical Laboratories Ltd was formed by the merging of two laboratories (Alliance Technical Ltd and Gooch Garforth) in 2005. The newly formed ATL took residence in our current home in Needham Market.

In 2012 Alliance Technical Laboratories Ltd became part of a larger group of companies when it was purchased by Harlow Agricultural Merchants Ltd. Since 2012 ATL has continued to grow in size every year and now offers more services to our customers than ever before.

In May 2021 ATL was purchased by Eurofins Food and Water Testing UK & Ireland. The laboratory continues to operate from the base in Suffolk.

On 19th January 2022, the company name officially changed from “Alliance Technical Laboratories Ltd”, to “Eurofins Food Testing ATL Ltd”.

From January 1st 2023 the business became part of the Eurofins Food Testing legal entity, the business is now called Eurofins Food Testing Ltd
